World Famous Athletes Ditch Olympic Village For Luxury Cruise Ships

We’ve all seen the headlines about the unfinished state of the Olympic Village in Rio. But did you realise that some athletes have now ditched the village to stay on a luxury cruise ship instead? After reports of the exposed wiring, puddles in room and leaking sewage, things weren’t looking good for the brand new Olympic Village. With the Australian’s team refusal to stay in the accommodation and many more countries deeming the accommodation completely unacceptable, the games organisers probably didn’t think things could get any worse. However, some athletes have now gone so far as to check themselves onto a luxury cruise ship instead! The American basketball team will not be heading to the village at all.
