How To Fast Track Your Way To The Galapagos

Who doesn’t love the idea of sailing to the far flung islands of the Galapagos and seeing the incredible animals and wildlife?

Well if so then you’re in luck! It has been announced that Celebrity’s two new ships (the Celebrity Xploration and Xperience) will be sailing to the Galapagos in 2017. As well as this, Silversea cruises have also announced additional sailings to the area.

The two Celebrity ships are new to the line and have both had a multimillion dollar refit. The Celebrity Xpedition holds just 8 luxury rooms whilst the Xperience is slightly larger with 24 staterooms.

This smaller size gives guests the chance to get much closer to wildlife and not have to beat hordes of tourists to the shore.

Celebrity Cruises said: “We are offering the trip of a lifetime onboard our newest ships with itineraries featuring ports of call we’ve never visited before and experience that are exclusive to Celebrity Cruises.” Sounds like an exciting adventure to us!

Silversea also revealed that their Galapagos expedition cruises will feature complimentary excursions, which is all part of the service for the luxury, inclusive 6-star line.

Silversea said: “These new itineraries will continue to highlight the amazing scenery and wildlife of the Galapagos.”

“For the first time, Silver Galapagos will circumnavigate iconic Kicker Rock and Daphne Major, both spectacular settings for spotting an array of exotic birds.”

“And nature lovers will appreciate the chance to witness beautiful flamingos and sea turtles at Las Bachas Beach, also a new destination.”
