How The New MSC World Europa Is Pushing The Boundaries Of Cruising

MSC World Europa, the first ship in MSC’s World Class fleet. It’s a cruise ship billed to change the future of cruising, pushing boundaries with what’s possible at sea and setting new standards for sustainable cruising. We share how this trailblazing ship and its innovations could enhance your cruise holiday.

Greener cruising

MSC Cruises designed MSC World Europa with the future in mind. Propelled by LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), one of the cleanest burning non-electric fuels, it is setting a milestone for MSC Cruises’ commitment to zero emissions and their responsibility to the future.

There are a range of other green initiatives throughout the ship, too, such as their water recycling technology for purifying wastewater and the propellers shown to reduce underwater noise and be kinder to marine life.

Stunning design

You’ll notice a difference in design as soon as you set eyes on MSC World Europa; its futuristic silhouette with signature plumb bow and a unique Y-shaped open aft that reveals an outdoor promenade with breathtaking views. Daytime and evening strolls along here will be an absolute pleasure and, at 104-metres long, there is plenty to see and sample. Connected to the promenade is the World Galleria, an indoor space topped with an awe-inspiring LED and kinetic dome ceiling.

Iconic features

Futuristic cruises onboard MSC World Europa are not just about sustainability; MSC is also focused on delivering inspiring experiences with new, exciting features for its guests to enjoy. For example, the state-of-the-art, 11-deck-high architectural dry slide not only provides a spectacular attraction as the longest of its kind at sea, but it also acts as a fun way for guests to reach the lower decks.

MSC World Europa has numerous different districts, each carefully curated with a distinct atmosphere and activities, offering something for adults, children and families. Enjoy thrills with interactive family entertainment at the multifunctional Luna Park Arena, while the Panorama Lounge and World Theatre offer immersive experiences and original productions for everyone to enjoy.

MSC World Europa has 6 pools and 14 whirlpools, which also include some pioneering new features. There’s the VR technology in the Aft Aquapark and the Magrodome Pool with its beautiful tropical greenery. To relax, head to the adults-only Zen Pool area, where you’ll find two new pools, a solarium and impressive sea views.

Diversity in dining experiences

Dining on board MSC World Europa will take you around the globe. You’ll find seasonal dishes and brand-new concepts with 10 dining venues, 3 extensive buffets, and 21 bars and lounges. Experience innovation at the Chef’s Garden Kitchen, which has the first hydroponic garden at sea, or sample Mediterranean seafood dishes at La Pescaderia. There are signature favourites, too, such as the American-style steakhouse, Butcher’s Cut and the Asian-inspired Kaito Teppanyaki Grill and Sushi Bar, as well as a new onboard microbrewery, a Champagne bar and a mixology Gin bar.

All-new cabin designs and luxury MSC Yacht Club suites

MSC World Europa has more balcony cabins than any other cruise ship in its fleet, each offering unique, outstanding views. And, with 19 different cabin categories and 7 brand-new designs, you’ll have plenty of choices when deciding where to lay your head.

For extra indulgence, the MSC Yacht Club offers spacious suites in some of the best locations on the ship. You’ll also have access to the exclusive luxury of a private club, with a dedicated restaurant, lounges and a pool area with solarium and whirlpool baths. The Yacht Club also includes 24-hour butler service and full access to the Thermal Area, so you’ll find everything you need to enjoy the ultimate experience in luxury cruise holidays.

Sailing the Middle East and Mediterranean

MSC World Europa first sets sail from Doha to Dubai in December 2022 and will continue to offer itineraries to other stunning destinations in the area, such as Abu Dhabi and Qatar throughout the winter. In the summer of 2023, it moves to the Mediterranean, exploring more delightful locations.
