New Princess Cruises Dining Revolution Makes Waves

New Princess Cruises Dining Revolution Makes Waves

Princess Cruises has rolled out a new fleetwide dining revolution onboard its ships, giving guests the ultimate flexibility and choice in their dining experiences.

Following a successful debut onboard Sun Princess, guests can now elevate their main dining experience with three table service options: Traditional; Reservable; or Walk-in Anytime. This is coupled with the brand’s industry exclusive OceanNow location-based “anywhere” service.

With the cruise line’s dedication to personal preference and individualised service, Princess Cruises will now designate separate dining rooms onboard its ships to three table service options: one dedicated to traditional dining; one offering reservable dining times; and the third with open seating for walk-ins anytime.

These new three dining options will integrate Princess Cruises’ OceanNow service, providing guests with the convenience of ordering anything, anytime, anywhere onboard its ships.

“Our guests have been delighted with the dining flexibility aboard Sun Princess and we’re pleased to extend the concept to all the other ships in our fleet. Now whether guests prefer an early seating every evening, or change things up every night, or even change their mind, these flexible dining options ensure that their dining preference is effortlessly accommodated.”

Sami Kohen, Princess Cruises Vice President of food and beverage

The cruise line’s new approach to dining will launch on Princess voyages departing from 14th September 2024 onwards. In order to support these changes, any main dining reservations that have already been made for these sailings onboard any ship, other than Sun Princess, will be cancelled. However, this change does not affect guests who have booked speciality dining onboard Princess ships.

From 17th June 2024, booked guests will be able to use the Princess Cruises app ahead of their sailing to choose their dining preference: either traditional seating, or flexible dining.
