An intriguing line-up of craft experts will be joining a themed Ambassador Cruise Line British Isles voyage this September!
During the 10-night Ambience sailing, actress and award-winning author Julie Peasgood, owner of Stamps Away, Ali Reeve, and owner of Simply Vintage, Mel Waudby, will lead interactive workshops, focusing on creating jewellery, personalised cards and notebooks, ornaments, trinket boxes, wreaths and more.
Julie, also a keen cruiser, is best known for her acting roles in Emmerdale and Hollyoaks in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Since then, she has gone on to found her very own business Supercraft Cruises, whereby she shares her passion for crafts via workshops delivered on cruises all around the world.
Alongside Julie’s workshops, Ali will share her distinctive methods and know-how with guests during events onboard focusing on creating handmade paper, marbled lanterns, Christmas decorations and trinket boxes.
Additionally, Mel, who specialises in mixed media creations, will create vintage charm brooches, applique pouches, floral bouquet hoops, embroidered notebooks and tweedy wreaths with guests.
Ambassador Cruise Line has advised that any crafty guests who want to attend the workshops onboard the cruise, departing from London Tilbury on 2 September 2023, will need to book in advance.
The cruise itself will highlight some of Britain’s most distinctive ports and destinations, including John O’Groats and Isle of Skye, plus Belfast, Liverpool and Guernsey, and a short call in Le Havre.
