Regent Unveils New Luxury Foodie Onboard Experiences And Sailings

Luxury foodie experiences just got even better on Regent Seven Seas Cruises! The decadent cruise line has unveiled details of their new culinary programme, Epicurean Perfection.

Regent Seven Seas’ new gastronomic scheme aims to inspire “culinary exploration” and allow guests to taste the world and fine food via a number of onboard experiences. Expert culinary teams at Regent Seven Seas have perfected the experience, which includes sampling fabulous exquisite cuisine served up in five speciality restaurants, fine wine and spirit tastings, cooking classes in the Culinary Arts Kitchens, demonstrations, talks and immersive shoreside excursions.

Nothing enhances travel like cuisine. That is why we are unveiling our new Epicurean Perfection programming, so our guests have an unrivalled culinary experience onboard and ashore with our collection of world-class restaurants, immersive shore excursions, tours, classes, and tastings.

We’re incredibly excited to launch our new Epicurean Spotlight Voyages with world-renowned chefs, vintners and sommeliers who will provide fascinating insights and unforgettable moments for our guests.

Andrea DeMarco, President of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

As part of the launch of Epicurean Perfection, Regent Seven Seas ships have also organised 11 unique Epicurean Spotlight Voyages departing in 2023, 2024, and 2025 on Seven Seas Grandeur™, Seven Seas Splendor®, Seven Seas Explorer®, Seven Seas Mariner® and Seven Seas Voyager®.

The first of these select voyages departs on 21 June 2023 from Sward in Alaska onboard Seven Seas Explorer. Guests will be joined by food writer and author Mark Bittman and Executive Culinary Director Wolfgang Maier.

As well as seeing awesome natural lands, guests on board will be able to taste local cuisine and traditions via specially hosted tours and cooking demonstrations with Mark. Chef Wolfgang will also inspire guests by providing insights on how onboard foodie teams source ingredients used as part of epicurean experiences.

Later this summer, Chefs Alain Roux and Michael Nizzero will share their Michelin-starred passion and prowess with guests onboard Seven Seas Mariner travelling from Rome to Venice on 14 August and decorated chef Vincent Guerihault will demonstrate his French culinary expertise with guests onboard the Seven Seas Explorer setting sail from Seward on 30 August.

More experts, including master sommelier Doug Frost, “Father of Southwestern Cuisine” Chef Dean Fearing, winemakers Stephanie and Michael Honig from Honig Wineries, Joe Caldwell from Napa-Valley-based Caldwell Vineyard, Jack and Ann Seifrick from Cast Wines, Ed and Adam Sbragia from Sbragia Family Vineyards, chef Tommaso Barletta, comedian John O’Hurley and California-based Zinfandel Advocates and Producers, will step on board other Regent Seven Seas vessels in late 2023, spring and summer 2024 and early 2025 for select Epicurean Perfection voyages.
