Seabourn Unveils Dining Experiences Onboard Seabourn Pursuit

Seabourn has announced a wide variety of gourmet dining experiences onboard its newest ultra-luxury, purpose-built expedition ship, Seabourn Pursuit– launching this summer.

Guests can indulge in exceptional culinary experiences while enjoying breathtaking views from around the world. Each dining option will showcase the high quality of cuisines created by the cruise line’s skilled culinary team, led by Master Chef and Culinary Consultant Chef Anton Egger and Senior Corporate Chef Franck Salein.

“We take great pride in offering our extraordinary guests world-class gourmet dining prepared by our very highly skilled and passionate culinary team. With Seabourn Pursuit, we’ve purposefully designed the culinary offerings to elevate the ultra-luxury expedition experience. After exploring breathtaking remote destinations, our guests can unwind and create even more cherished memories over wonderfully prepared meals, a glass of wine, or the perfectly crafted cocktail.”

Natalya Leahy, President of Seabourn

As with all Seabourn ships, dining experiences are complimentary, with guests being able to dine whenever, wherever and with whoever they choose. Additionally, premium spirits, fine wines, and a selection of other beverages are also complimentary everywhere onboard.

Seabourn Pursuit Dining Experiences

The Restaurant

The Restaurant is the main, fine-dining venue onboard all Seabourn ships, offering elegant, open-seating dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. New recipes to the already exclusive menu include lighter-fare dishes using a number of ingredients, such as fresh oysters, Dover sole and more.

Here, guests can also enjoy an expansive wine selection, featuring both Old World and New World labels that include a number of complimentary choices.

The Colonnade

A more casual alternative offering buffet or table service for breakfast and lunch, plus themed dinners served tableside.

Earth & Ocean

A dining experience available on select nights in the Colonnade, where skilled chefs create imaginative and inventive dishes for a sophisticated menu- celebrating eclectic traditional flavours from across the globe.

The Patio

The Patio offers a casual, alfresco dining option for lunch (weather permitting).

Sushi in The Club

This eatery serves up a variety of freshly made to order sushi bites every evening.

Seabourn Square

This social oasis serves up speciality coffees, pastries, sandwiches and homemade gelati during the day and into the evening.

Pantry in the Bow Lounge

Here, guests are free to help themselves to freshly prepared light fare and refreshments as they look out to the horizon.

Constellation Lounge

A spot for the early risers, the Constellation Lounge offers pastries and beverages, elegant afternoon Teatime and cocktail-time tapas.

24-Hour In-Suite Dining

Served to guests in the comfort of their suite, or on their private veranda, choose from a brand-new in-suite dining menu, or have dinner from The Restaurant served course-by-course.

Seabourn Pursuit is enhanced by world-class equipment that allows the cruise line to offer its widest range ever of expedition activities led by an expert team of scientists, scholars, naturalists, and more. The brand-new ship is designed and built for remote, diverse environments and will include modern hardware and technology to extend the ship’s global deployment and capabilities.

Onboard the ship, guests can find up to 30,000 square feet of deck space, including indoor and outdoor guest areas with nearly 270-degree views, and a 4K GSS Cineflex Camera mounted on the mast of the Constellation Lounge- capable of broadcasting imagery from miles ahead on monitors located throughout the ship and in guest suites.

Scheduled to enter service this August, Seabourn Pursuit will sail five Mediterranean voyages before embarking on two sailings across the Atlantic and through the Caribbean.

On 10th October 2023, the ship will arrive in Barbados, ready to begin its expedition journeys and head south for expeditions exploring coastal South America, the Amazon, and Antarctica into March 2024.

Following its inaugural Antarctic season, Seabourn Pursuit will head across the South Pacific islands and eventually to Australia- which will be the beginning of the cruise line’s first exploration of the Kimberley region in the Northern Territory and Western Australia between June and August 2024.

In addition to the Kimberley, the ship will visit Papua New Guinea, West Papua, Indonesia and sail across the South Pacific between Chile and Melanesia between March and October 2024.
