Why don't you ring Princess or even pop in they're only down the road from you at Richmond House, Southampton.

Fellow passenger - I have been informed that we should aim to arrive at 7.00pm. I'm told there is a technical fault resulting in a reduced speed but I've been monitoring the progress to port and it has arrived exactly on time this morning.

I have just returned from the last cruise which arrived 10-12 hours late yesterday at Southampton. When leaving Gibraltar a 'propulsion' fault was found. We were two hours late leaving that port and then had to cruise at reduced speed for the next two days, hence the late arrival. Apparently there were engineers waiting at Southampton with specialist equipment to repair the fault. Best of luck to anyone who is currently sailing on Sea Princess.

We also arrived late on Sea princess yesterday-we got off the ship at 7pm instead of 7am-it arrived at Southampton at around 5pm and believe it was to sail at midnight-shame as I understand its only a seven day cruise and they are to miss out vigo as no time. Hope they have a great time and they did fix the fault. There was a lack of explanation, first we were told it would arrive at 2pm ,then 7pm and we had to rearrange flights and find a hotel for last night and sadly Princess did not offer great service to passengers! Watch out for the reviews!

Over the last few years here at www.CRUISE.co.uk we have seen the cruise industry change massively. Gone are the days when a simple cruise will suffice, people are now wanting more from their cruise. We are seeing a steady rise in the requirements to do a land stay prior to the cruise (or after it in some cases). Not only that but people are wanting tours and particularly escorted tours that really give an essence of that region. Our most popular package of the last few years has undoubtedly been...
