Q: Has anyone stayed in lake buena vista, usa ,and then cruised from tampa? Any idea of cost for transport to port?
I no this is a bit of a long shot!

Yes. Two and a half hours, mid morning set off, no problem. We always hire a car and drop it off at the aiport in Tampa and get the airport-port shuttle bus[free]. We drive Orlando International airport to the Tampa area at least twice a year so know the route well.

You can get from Orlando to Tampa in a couple of hours by train- http://tickets.amtrak.com/itd/amtrak then taxi to the port- or hire a car and drive.
