Hi, just been on Oceana Christmas cruise. I'm a smoker so here you are, you can smoke on the starboard side by the Riveria bar, (tables under the covered area have ashtrays) near the central big pool, starboard side at the back by the Terrace bar, starboard side at the top Pennant Bar and on Promenade Deck - Deck 7 starboard side - handy for a ciggie after a show at either Starlights aft or the main Theatre - forward. We always have a balcony so I can smoke, Have a great cruise, we did!

Forgot to add, when you light up on your balcony you will get lots of overcoughing noises from either side. This tiume, (luckily- I had a smoker on my right side!) but a very loud voice on my right side said to his partner loudly ' Is smoking allowed on balconies? to which she went inside, read the regulations and said yes. I cannot see the problem when you are in windy fresh air!

I cant believe that it is 10 days already since I got back from my New Year cruise on Aurora which also seems like an age ago. When I woke up on 27th December and seen all the snow I did wonder if we would get to Southampton at all, thank goodness we had booked and hotel in Southampton for 28th December so we would be there the day before. After a lovely night out in Southampton and a night at...

Tipping on board cruise ships has always been a problem, many customer’s like to do this, many don’t, I’m a person that doesn’t like to be told how much I should give and who to give it too and is it getting out of control the amount that cruise lines are putting these up by?Many people think it’s just on cruise ship but many holiday destinations you have to tip places so what is the recommended amount that you should tip?
