Cruised on the Dawn last year. Used all our hair curlers, camera chargers, etc. just fine in the room. I always take just a standard outlet extender (you know to increase from 2 plugs to 3 or 4) and had no trouble with it. We had 3 women sharing a mini suite!! I am sailing on the Jade later this month & was assured by Customer Service that we will have no worries. Deb Bowie, Md. 3-09.

Don't think this is a problem - I believe we have cruised on a similar ship and electricals weren't effected.

Check your re-charger. Many don't mind the input voltage, saying something like Input 100 - 240 V 50/60hz 0.6A. American sockets are 2 flat pin, European ones 2 round pin. You'll need an adaptor that includes both.

Did the gem last summer, sister ship. standard shaver socket in cabin. there is a limited number of electrical sockets in cabin, so if u are like me mobile phone, digital camera , her in doors video camera etc...i take universal adapter and and plug in a four plug disc board.
