Cruised on the Dawn last year. Used all our hair curlers, camera chargers, etc. just fine in the room. I always take just a standard outlet extender (you know to increase from 2 plugs to 3 or 4) and had no trouble with it. We had 3 women sharing a mini suite!! I am sailing on the Jade later this month & was assured by Customer Service that we will have no worries.
Don't think this is a problem - I believe we have cruised on a similar ship and electricals weren't effected.
Check your re-charger. Many don't mind the input voltage, saying something like Input 100 - 240 V 50/60hz 0.6A. American sockets are 2 flat pin, European ones 2 round pin. You'll need an adaptor that includes both.
We were on norwegian dawn in nov and they had both 110 and 240 sockets in the cabins.
Did the gem last summer, sister ship. standard shaver socket in cabin. there is a limited number of electrical sockets in cabin, so if u are like me mobile phone, digital camera , her in doors video camera etc...i take universal adapter and and plug in a four plug disc board.
