Pack lightly and launder clothes in the on board self service launderettes or wash and drip dry in your bathroom and use the ships pressing service. I never use ships laundery service as clothes have been damaged in the past.

Hi! There are no self service launderettes on RCI ships. Laundry & Pressing service only......Wilba.

I stand corrected. I have never sailed on this line. I would still avoid the laundry and use the pressing service only. Having travelled extensively over the years and in some very out of the way and primitive places, I know there is very little you can't wash and drip dry in your own bathroom. A cruise ship bathroom is a doddle. Or just use a bigger suitcase, pack the lot and have them all pressed.

Like most cruise lines, Irons are banned by RCI as they are a fire risk! Read RCI's T's & C's ...Wilba.

I'm sure that irons are banned on RCI ships due to fire hazard. Check the FAQs on their website.

I suggest you read the Terms & Conditions of RCI & most other cruise lines. So when there's a fire on board it'll be so nice to know your clothes are nicely pressed as we all scramble for the lifeboats!!

A trick I use is to roll your clothes up rather than folding and you will find they don't need ironing!!!!
