I've been on 2 MSC's & don't recall DIY laundry rooms, only the ships laundry via the cabin steward.
I have been on cruise ships that do provide laundry facilities for their passengers. It's a nice touch if one is travelling for a lengthy period such as we will be. Just checking to see if the brochure was up to date. Thank you for your polite reply.
No problem. Ive checked 'Berlitz' & it confirms No DIY Laundry.
I have come across some truly stupid, fatuous and inconsequential questions but this one truly takes the biscuit.
What on earth does it matter?
Are you going to cancel this cruise because the laundry facility might turn out to be in a somewhat inconvenient location for you?
Why not just wait and find out when you get there rather than bother anyone and everyone else with such a ludicrous question.
Oh come on Macleod of Inverness, no need to be so dimissive, Robinson was only asking a question which was obviously important to him/her. It matters to some people where the laundry facilities are situated, maybe there is a disability problem, or maybe Robinson just likes his/her laundry kept up to date without having to brave the notorious "take my washing out of the dryer if you dare it's only been in for two hours" crowd, or perhaps Robinson is concerned about the through traffic past his/her cabin when they want to relax.
Thank you for your "kind" words!!!
