Yes, all announcements will be made in English, but depending on the number of europeans on board they will also make main announcemnts (lifeboatdrill etc) in the necessary languages so that everyone understands them.

Aldrich, I asked in the review section if main language was English in the Med on RCI, cos one review said ALL announcements were in several languages which surprised me after cruising with this company in the Caribbean and only English was spoken exceptfor lifeboat drills. I'm still waiting for a reply. Mr/Mrs Hollaway go to reviews and search Voyager of the Seas. Regards.

The first language is English, but announcements are made in several languages.In August there was a large number of Italian and Spanish on board. (They did not queue like the brits.
