Have used them frequently, what do you want to know?

We have a suite booked on the Ventura, and presumably we get a butler. What exactly do they do for you; are they always available; do you get the same person all through the trip and how and when do you tip? Lyn.

What do you want to know? I have had a suite on Arcadia and I assume the butler service is the same on all ships.

You are more likely to find Butlins on the Ventura .

We had a butler called Arun, he was just brilliant whatever you wanted he would do for you he looked after us for 2 weeks and we could not pick a single fault with him. We had some good chats and was also very obliging with information. We actually got married on board and he made sure that we had champagne on ice and enough glasses for the family he made sure that everything was perfect. When it was his break time his others colleagues looked after us just as well. Darryl & Karen Leicestershire.

Hi went on ventura last september we had Aaron as our butler he was good. You are given a phone mumber and he is in call 24 hrs or another one will come. He will bring you a tray of hors d"oeuvres about 6pm ish and if you have drinks in your cabin or on balcony he will tidy up. You still have a cabin steward and tip both. You will only see him if you call him but get him to bring you a early breakfast on the balcony its what you make of it hope your cabin is not on bach of ship as a bit noisey. Was ok we renewed our wedding vows the ship and service with the captin was nice. But will not go back on the ship again Pritchard Denbighshire.

We had a Butler on the Maiden voyage and one of the top rooms on the ship.I would not do it again! You have a number for him and he is available 24 hours but ours was lazy and we did not ask that much of him. They iron your clothe's and are supposed to tell you what they can do ours did not volunteer any information so we had no idea what his duties were!!The Ventura is understaffed and the staff are not happy.would not recommend it to anyone.
