Question: Just booked 12 night fly/cruise next March startin...

Just booked 12 night fly/cruise next March starting in Barbados finishing in Malaga. 1st night stay over in Barbados next day sail at 6pm. Calling into St Lucia,Antigua, then six day at sea then into Madeira another day at sea then Malaga. Thomas Cook flights from Manchester 8am and Malaga 10am. We are in cabin R407 which is a large inside cabin Riveara deck. We also recieve £120 onboard spend. The cost was £1269 each. Is this a good price it seems really good to me, especially the long haul flight being included. I will have other specific questions later but any info about the ship, cabin, places we are going to, would be much appreciated as its all new to us.....Cheers........Jim.

I usually get a 14 day fly cruise from Malaga to Ft Lauderdale or Malaga To San Juan all flights included and always a balcony cabin for About £2800 but I usually book these on launch date with RCI, this year trying Princess from Southampton to Ft Lauderdale on C deck the big balconies all flights for £2800 with $200 obc, dont forget your cruising from Barbados so once you hit the canaries will cool down, shame your not staying in Malaga a couple of days, fantastic place...do you shop around for prices because this site is not the cheapest.....Brian.

Have been to Malaga, as you say a lovely place, will be there in September this year. I booked this cruise with P&O direct it was not on offer on this site. We never book a balcony or an outside because believe or not my wife has a fear of water(looking at it scares her). We usually have a promenade cabin on the RCCI ships(bigger inside cabins). That was one of the reasons we were attracted to this cruise, the bigger inside cabin still available......Cheers........Jim.

You said you booked direct, there will be someone who would of been selling it, Iglu, cruise nation,co-op-,liverpool cruise club, cumbria cruises,+many more that are very good, these companies will go out of there way to try and help, if there is a cabin there they will try and get a good price, shop around seriously,, you could have a nice surprice...Brian.

We did Barbados to Barcelona this spring, but with Seabourn, so can't really tell you if you have a good price or not. We love the Atlantic crossings and my husband now considers ports an interruption to this cruise! Judith.

I hope you have a great time! We did a Ventura Caribbean cruise a couple of years ago, not transatlantic though. Had a wonderful time. Everybody will tell you to book with Cosol Tours in St Lucia. Best shore excursion ever! In Antigua, we toured with Gordon on his Paradise Island tour. Saw the sights and had a beach stop. Also good. Just google them both. Both include food and drink. Alcoholic with Cosol and non-alcoholic with Gordon. Madeira you should do the toboggan ride. No need for a tour. Cable car or taxi to the start at Monte, where you can also see the church and gardens.

We have stayed in an identical cabin on the Azura this Year on Riviera deck R515. These cabins are much larger than the standard inside cabin. Pictures of these cabins may be found on cruise critic website from Identical design Princess ships. Hope this is of help to you.

We managed to get the last one, they seem only to be on the one deck and there is only six in total. So do you think they are worth the extra money......Cheers.....Jim.
