Depends on your experiences with Royal Carrribean and Princess. I love Princess and done 6 with another just paid for in May and sailed on RCL once which was the worst cruise I ever had and will never cruise with them again but lots of people love them. Holland America I loved and came back from my first over the festive season and immediately booked another one for later in the year. The style is more towards Princess than Royal Carribean which seems to be tending now to huge ships and what I call younger entertainment like ice rinks and climbing walls. HAL have smaller ships and are more traditional. The biggest they sail only takes 2050 passengers (The Eurodam). You get a lot more space in the cabins, the service and food are wonderful . If you do book, do not be put off by the exterior of the ships. They paint the bottom of them black which does nothing for their exterior image.

We have only cruised once before did Caribbean in dec 08, we just booked Eastern Med on MS Oosterdam as intinery looks very good. One thing i'd like to make you aware of is to book cruise only and get flight out to ship as you save at least 500 doing it that way and it's so simple to do. We even going out a day before and staying in hotel. Feel fresh before the star of the holiday. Hope this helps why not book through ################################## can save money on travel agents .

Travelling the Globe!

By Stacey Williams

I am so excited for tomorrow as I have been invited to London for the annual Globe Travel Awards. I have never been to an awards ceremony before so I was over the moon to receive an invite from the amazing MSC Cruises. My plan is to pack in the morning just before travelling as we have been so busy at Cruise HQ I have had no time to organize anything. My train is booked for 9am from Dumfries to Carlisle and then onto Euston. I will (hopefully) arrive at around 1pm. I then need to navigat...

I have blogged about this before as there have been an unacceptable number of deaths in Swimming pools on-board cruise ships and yet only Disney Cruise lines employed actual Life guards to monitor their pools.Well it looks like things are changing. At the end of December Royal Caribbean started advertising for Lifeguards on their ships. The Post Stated that candidates will need to perform rescue of Guests in danger of drowning and be vigilant to potential accidents. Will be trained to administ...
