How do you assist disabled people on this trip?

You will not be unpacking when you first board a cruise ship. The first thing for most is up to the self service restaurant for a bite & then most people explore the ship. Your luggage will arrive later in the afternoon.
I am also going on the cruise however staying on until Miami. Its a wonderful ship, so much to do and see. You must be on deck for the sailaway party, champagne in hand! I have done the crossing once before and never saw all the ship! Its great fun exploring the liner. Have a superb trip, see you in the Commodore Club! :-) .
Thanks for that but what is the attire for the sailaway party? and do you have to pay for the champayne at the party?
Only Mrs Bucket changes for the sailaway, all the others are still waiting for their cases to arrive at the cabin. No travelling clothes are fine for that and a good coat as you will find that the wind comes up the Solent at a rate of knots. Unfortunately unless you have a bottle in your cabin when you arrive, it does happen, you will have to pay for your champagne.... Neil
Thanks neil. I dont think we'll be getting free drinks as it's our 1st cruise and we are B5 class. Still cant wait though. Vanessa.
Think you might get a comp bottle of sparkling wine! Sure we did with out first cunard cruise. In may on QE2 we recieved 2! Gary .
We were B5 and we got a bottle waiting for us in our cabin when we boarded!!
Hi there, when you go on the Q.M shortly to go tranatlantic you are going on a trip of your life and I am sure you will enjoy every minute. The first thing to do when you have un packed have a walk round the ship to get your bearings, you will still get lossed after 6 days cruising. I went on QM 2 in Nov 2006 for my first cruise and since then I have had 7 cruises including transatlantic to New York and return Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!! and I am nearly 70 years old but im off again on a cruise in May 2009.
Have a great trip and enjoy it, Best regards Brian,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.
Thanks for that Brian and i will enjoy every single minute of it. Vanessa.
Open the sparkly, toast your good fortune, walk round the decks and soak up the atmosphere of being on such a wonderful ship. Leaving Sothampton is exciting and the excitment stays with you every day of your trip. It is fantanstic cruising in to New York, you will have the most amazing time.
