Good Morning "Singh", Onboard the Azamara Journey, you can infact take a Buggy onboard, you will just have to check with Airlines for certain specification with weight Restrictions. Onboard you will find, Swimming Pools, not really much else as this cruise line probably best suits the older generation. Not really Families. Have A Good Cruise' Pete.

Having A Child myself, I would Advise Cruising with Azamara as like Pan said, its more for the Retired. If you haven't booked yet, I would recomment Celebrity Cruises, which welcomes more families, and it is in the same group as Celebrity. Hope thats helped... Callu.

Azamara Cruises no longer offer any formal children's programming or have Youth Staff onboard. On port days, shore excursions deemed “easy” may be more suitable for families with children. In-Stateroom baby-sitting is conducted by Housekeeping and is based on limited availability at a rate of $8/hour. I would swap to another line if I were you.

We love it here as have been before but in the summer 3 years ago for our wedding anniversary. We booked into the Imperial Hotel for 2 nights as looked like a nice place and had an indoor swimming pool as I am a water baby and love swimming – I should have been born a dolphin (I love dolphins also)….A few days before we were due to go our friends decided to...

MSC Preziosa!

By Jodie Baldwin

Jodie Baldwin's blog

I love my ship visits in Southampton and this time it was to see MSC’s Preziosa. This is the 3rd in the Fantasia class ship I’ve seen this year, first was Splendida, then Fantasia. All three are very similiar with only slight differences. These are big ships, 139.000 tons and hold 4,300 guests. As soon as I stepped on board the famous smell of MSC’s own fragrance hit me , the ships have this fragrance throughout. I like it so much I brought a diffuser home after my last crui...

The Young and Lively go River Cruising

By Diane Cockburn

Diane Cockburn's blog

Over the last few years we have seen a vast reduction in age groups in the Ocean cruise market with introductions of family orientated ships with the most amazing facilities ever experienced at sea to entice those to try cruising as its now not only for the ‘older’ generations. As more ships are introduced year after year, we see the age brackets slowly reducing as more and more families see for themselves what all the fuss is about.River Cruises on the other hand have been more t...
