If you google 'ports of call cruise boards' the first link should take you to a most excellent site full of info.

If it's salmon fishing you want, try Scotland. The ports in Alaska are typically full of tourist tack.

Is the cruise going to Kenai? The Kenai River is known for its world-class King Salmon fishing. You would probably have to book this direct yourself though, not through Princess.

A waste of time and money i went on trip booked on ship six people on small boat guide went about half mile from ship not a single fish in four hours. I would sail from vancouver and take a three daytrip to campbell river Painters Lodge is a good hotel cought fish every day inc two kings of 20 lbs plus .
