If you google 'ports of call cruise boards' the first link should take you to a most excellent site full of info.

If it's salmon fishing you want, try Scotland. The ports in Alaska are typically full of tourist tack.

Is the cruise going to Kenai? The Kenai River is known for its world-class King Salmon fishing. You would probably have to book this direct yourself though, not through Princess.
