Agree absolutely about Tallinn. Get the shuttle to the entrance to the Old Town, then wander up to Toompea. Stunning views across the old town and modern city to the sea, loads of atmosphere, cafes and lovely little amber shops [just for browsing, in my case]. If you've just been to St Petersburg and you're a bit shattered from all the walking, a potter around Tallinn at your own pace is perfect.

Tallin is lovely and so easy to do n your own Just wander off the Ship and enjoy! We did this trip on the Sun last May and it was wonderful. Jacquie

I'm not sure what you mean, but if the ship is calling at Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, you don't really need to pay for a trip. You can just walk into town from the port or take a shuttle bus and wander round on your own. It's very picturesque.
