Men wear open necked short sleeved shirts and slacks (not shorts). Ladies smart/casual - can include trousers (not jeans). Great ship, great itinerary, great cruise line. You will have a GREAT time!! If going to Princess Cays, prepare to experience paradise!!!

Thank you for that information!! Now what do ladies wear, and how posh on formal nights!! I know the men wear dinner suits! Also are there any teamaking facilities in the bedroom? Kind regards.

Wish I could send you a photo. My beloved wife and I are well turned 60 so we dress for comfort rather than style!! Sue has a couple of long black skirts and a selection of black tops. She has a white shawl, a white crochet jacket and a "posh minger" (pashmina) to throw around her shoulders depending on temperature and mood. A few bits of jewelry and some lippy and she looks great. No tea making in your state room so take a couple of light weight insulated cups - pound shops often do them - with press on lids. You can nip up to the self serve and fill them before sitting on your balcony or whatever to enjoy a hot drink before another perfect day kicks in.

Dont miss your ship.

By Dawn Gardener

For some reason, there seems to be more and more stories of cruise guests missing their ship when in port. I am on several cruise pages via Facebook and have heard this a lot recently where guests comment on how the ship departed leaving guests on shore because they didn’t get back in time. Last year there was the famous you tube video going around of the couple that left their kids on the ship whilst they went on shore and then missed it as it departed from Nassua with her screami...

Looking for travel insurance?

Recently I have had quite a few discussions with customers trying to get travel insurance and at www.CRUISE.co.uk we have teamed up with Holiday Extras to offer a great insurance policy that is tailored to the cruise passenger.Holiday Extra’s recognise that people are living longer lives and that we are fitter and more active then we used to be. Were Turning Japanese!

By Collette Apak

Collette Apak's blog

Over the last couple of years we have seen a huge rise in the number of people booking cruises that visit Japan. Maybe it’s the fact that many people have done the Mediterranean & Caribbean itineraries and are now wanting to look at somewhere different or whether a certain Joanna Lumley has prompted people’s interest after her TV series? Who knows? But in answer to this demand we are celebrating all things Japanese this week. I would certainly like to take a trip there and see...
