The dress code, which is "SUGGESTED" only not compulsory, is published in the Daily Planner, and can be one of the following. GALA (formal, there are usually 2 on a 7 night cruise), INFORMAL, THEME (White night ....... 60s,70's, 80's .......... RED GRERN and WHITE (Italian night)) ......... CASUAL. There are very few Dinner Jackets worn, but more if there are a reasonable number of Brits on board. AS it is only a suggested dress code, wear what you want and feel comfortable wearing. The only real rule is NO SHORTS in the MDR for Dinner and NO Tank tops in an indoor food area at any time. Tank tops being a vest like top, so no guys with sweaty arm pits near any food ........................ PETE.

As Pete has said I've been a few times with MSC and never seen a Tux on any of them except when they sail from the UK.
