If the travel agent can't resolve this you could when you arrive on the ship go and see the restuarant manager they are usually about on the day of arrival to organise table changes check at the front desk in no info in your cabin. When I complete our on-line data for other cruise companies I am able to do this there including 'other guests' but have never completed an on-line pre-cruise data for P & 0.
Ask your travel agent to phone P&O to request that the bookings be linked. You will need your parents booking ref as well as your own, and you T/A should be able to change your request to a table for 4.
All the advice given here is spot on. However, if all else fails, just see the restuarant manager at your specific time of dining on the first night. Ventura, as you know is a very large ship and it's highly unlikely all tables will be full. I heard people asking for the same thing in the Caribbean before Christmas, no worries. Enjoy your cruise.
