Oasis of the Seas, is bigger better ?

We are all individual and have our own ideas about the perfect cruise ship, some prefer the smaller more intimate with a good ratio of passenger to crew, others would prefer all the activities. But that’s the beauty of cruising, especially with a family of three generations travelling together ! Imagine the age range from 3 year old to grandma in her seventies, I think everyone is kept happy.

I am off to see Oasis of the seas on Wednesday and have a look around (not sailing, sad to say)she has been in dry dock and should come in to Southampton looking very grand. There is also talk of the new Dynamic dining being added, but this may only actually start in March 2015.

Just to give some idea of size

Weighing in at 220 000 tonnes and capable of carrying 5400 passengers at twin occupancy, add to that over 2000 crew and we have ourselves a little floating village !

for a quite time and just to relax

I may even be talked into this one !

Happy children makes us all happy parents !

Look our later in the week and I hope to add some photos for you all to see !!
