Regent Seven Seas a wonderful trip

This was such a last minute offer and I was delighted to accept the offer of 5 nights on board the Voyager of the seas. We left on 30th September with a great start from Birmingham airport to join the ship in Amsterdam, I have been to this airport before, but i think the sheer size of it will make anyone impressed., I would strongly recommend anyone with walking difficulties arrange assistance. We have booked a transfer to the port which gave very clear instructions and happily was waiting for us at the appointed spot, very impressed, it takes about 30 mins to the cruise terminal.

Checking in was a real delight, no queues, luggage taken to appear in our suite like magic later on, our suites were all ready by 13:30 pm

Huge closet space with more drawers than we could possibly fill, okay we were only packed for five nights but you can see the walk in wardrobe had no trouble accommodating us !

With only 700 passengers and over 400 crew members you can only imagine the service, my first impressions were on the space and and the staff, everyone had a smile for you, friendly and so polite, they are a true credit to the cruise line and we could not find a single fault with the staff.

After recently having traveled on a much larger ship the pool deck impressed me

There were many nice touches, one of mine are the sun loungers with a removable towel covering, plus the towel for swimming already waiting for you, plenty of side tables and two Jacuzzi’s

The main dining venues are the Compass Rose and La Veranda, one being on deck 11 (la Veranda) and self service buffet style, there is also poolside grill during the day. Two specialty restaurants , Prime 7 and Signatures, we were lucky enough to eat in both, they are included and there is no cover charge, but you do need to book as the seating is less.

I will telling you more on my next blog about this wonderful experience with some of the fantastic people we met on board !
