About Me

Born in Coventry in 1961 at Gulson Road Hospital, making me a true Coventarian!!

I moved to South Africa at the tender age of 19 to live two years with my husband to “try it out” Way back then in 1981 the South African government kindly paid our fare. We were sponsored immigrants .Then, 23 years later, two children and one divorce later I returned to the place I was born, a full circle.

The Family, Dean, Kerry-Anne (newest addition Stephen) myself and my husband, Paul.

Another addition Jayden Rose, born 5th September 2008, a real cutie and my first Grandchild.

I decided that flowers were very nice, but expensive and after a week you throw them away with no memory. So, I decided to buy a tree, an Oak tree to be precise.

Here we are planting the tree, watch this space as next time I go to Manchester I will show you a new picture of how big it has grown, it is still in a pot at the moment, one day it will be planted and continue to grow along with Jayden.

HOW DID I GET TO BE IN TRAVEL ?

After returning from South Africa in 2004 I decided that my life would be different, I have always been in sales or customer service positions (and the two do go hand in hand) so I joined the then Mytravel Group in North Shields. That was me hooked , I could not imagine selling anything else now, until I discovered cruises. Since my first ship visit I have loved cruising and all it entails, I hope my passion for this comes over. The biggest investment most families make once (or if very lucky twice) a year is the annual holiday, what I really enjoy is getting the right product and deal for everyone.

For those of you who will remember !!

Now we are delighted to find out he is to become a big brother this year (May 10th) so more baby photos to come.

In July 2014 I was on the Ventura, husbands 50th so a treat for the two of us, I have written a blog about that, any information you want on that ship give me a call

Then in October 2014 myself and Babs (a colleague) had the lucky experience of four nights on Regent Seven Seas, all I can say is WOW, would not hesitate to go on the Navigator again.

The Christmas conference on the QM2 in December 2014, 3 nights, we had a fabulous time. I found the ship very traditional, and very nice, of course having us all on board together made it a fun trip.

I did have a short trip with Fred Olsen planned in November, but weather stopped us flying in to Madeira, watch my blog and see if I get lucky enough for a second chance
