Penthouse anyone?

Happy new year!  I recently read of a businessman who was the first person to fly with Etihad airlines in the £14,000 “penthouse in the sky”. Wow, can you imagine doing that and having the money to do it also? I don’t think it will be that long till the cruise ships have even more bigger and better suites/penthouses then they have got now, money it seems, is not a issue with the most luxurious of accommodation, they actually sell out before most other cabins.

With this in mind, here are my top suites which I think would rival the Ethiad airlines penthouse. Have you seen the Master suite on the Regent Seven Seas Voyager? It is 1216 ft with an 187 sq ft balcony! A living and dining room, 2 bedrooms each of course with en suite. Passengers who book this suite are automatically upgraded to business class flights, of course!  Or what about the Queens Grill, grand Duplex on the Queen Mary 2?  These are split over 2 levels, bedroom and bathroom upstairs, living and dining area downstairs. Of course a butler to assist you, access to a private lounge, priority embarkation and disembarkation etc!  I am also not forgetting Celebrity Cruises. There is the lovely Reflection suite on the Reflection ship. Among other fantastic features there are 2 bedrooms and a fantastic 194 sq feet balcony!

One of the most beautiful ships I visited was the Europa 2. The Owners suite is wonderful. Shower with steam sauna, a whirlpool, butler etc etc – fab!  Of course I also cant forget or mention Seabourn cruises. On the Odyssey they have the Wintergarden suite. This is 914 sq ft in size.  Half of the balcony is enclosed by glass with day beds. The service you receive on a Seabourn ship is also second to none.

I could go on and on. I cant forget Silverseas, Owners suite or the Owners suite on the Royal Princess or the Haven penthouse on NCL Breakaway, all of these have the most fantastic features, huge sizes, and wow you would feel like royalty!

So, if luxury is for you or you have just won the lottery! Or even just think life is too short to hold onto your money, then take a look at these, I really don’t think you will be disappointed. You never know this could be your year!
