What Shall We Do With A Drunken Sailor?

Well, maybe not a sailor, but perhaps a few passengers!!

Last week, Princess Cruises announced  its intention to expand the rollout of their all inclusive drinks packages. The rollout began late last year and three more of their ships will have  the packages by the beginning of April.

These packages raise a number of questions – do you think they are value for money? Is it giving out the right message? Are these ships turning into floating gin palaces?

I have asked a number of my regular customers their thoughts,  and opinion varies. One customer thought he had joined a booze cruise as fellow passengers ensured they got value for money!! Many don’t believe that they offer good value ,  at approx $56 Dollars a day – is it a good deal?

Are the cruise lines opening themselves up to all sorts of potential court cases? It was only a couple of months ago when a passenger fell overboard and is suing the cruise line as she says a bartender got her drunk.

Is this the way we want to experience our holidays at sea? What do you think?
