Although not finished Virgin invited a group of people (mainly travel journalists) onboard to have a look around and get a feel for what they will be offering their guests when the 1st sailing goes on sale. From what I have read there will be a huge choice of dining venues, the ships will be all inclusive and gratuities are a thing of the past. Celebrity unveils the newly refurbished Celebrity Millennium.
In the cruise sales industry, you can normally tell when a ship is in need of a facelift by feedback from our customers when we call you on your return. The Celebrity Millennium was 1 such ship. Celebrity are investing massively not only in building new ships, but also modernising their exsisting girls to keep up with the rest of the cruise industry. Having looked at the pictures of the newly refitted Millennium it looks brilliant, a real fresh colour scheme making the areas that have been refurbished look like they are straight from a brand new ship. Great job Celeb!
