5 months and counting!!

After out wonderfully sunny and warm weekend, I enjoyed a lovely day off yesterday and tackled a few bits for my wedding, which is now only just over 5 months away!! After a morning at the church, which we are starting to mastered remembering 2 important things, 1. Wrap up warm!! 2. Eat breakfast before we go!! As it happens it was our Reverend’s final service before she retired and so attendance was the highest we have seen, possibly even more that will be attending our big day. I meant we had no chance to discuss the big day with her, although I think things are coming together nicely. I think you’ll agree, our church looks great on a sunny day! Let’s hope August the 3rd has a similar brightness!!

After our morning of singing and praying, I even managed to get the car washed, a trip to the petrol station for some fuel for the lawnmowers and then it was time to attack the garden. I managed to get 2 of my apple trees trimmed back and a big tree at the back of our garden cut right back making the place seem a bit tidier and more open. As this will be the venue of our wedding reception I will be spending a ridiculous amount of time cutting, burning, planting, tidying and mowing between now and August.

As the day ran away from me, I didn’t even get the chance to give it a good mow, and I just added to my ever-growing burning pile! If any of you have any hints or tips, greatly appreciated!
