My 40th Birthday Celebrations and my Winter Wonderland

Its one of those saying’s ‘how did that happen ?’ It doesn’t seem 2 minutes since I was celebrating being 30

We had a great party with 200 guests and we celebrated the night away which we then carried on into the week . We were spoilt and showered with lovely gifts and I can honestly say I can probably provide a cruise ship with all the bottles I received from Prosecco to Moet !!

Look at my fab cake also anyone would of thought I liked cruise ships!!

My week of celebrations carried on with pampering , best friends get together ,meals out and onto our annual weekend away to Center Parcs for there Winter Wonderland . We visit every year with a group of my best friends and families. If you have never heard of these breaks at Center Parcs  they are fabulous for the family ( as much for us adults as children also ) They are a great alternative to going to Lapland although unfortunatly this year we didn’t get any snow. There are lots of activities going on over the weekend you can take part in. We always go and use the huge swimming pool with slides and waves and rapids . They put on a whole host of Christmas activities treasure hunts to arts and crafts making Christmas decorations putting them all in age ranges so you know what is suitable . If you fancy something more energetic there are loads of sports activities we go roller skating to their Roller Jingle Ball but you can do The Climbing wall Quad biking Horse Riding you name it you can do it .Every year they put on a very good Pantomine this year we watched Wizard of Oz  Top Class !!. The atmosphere is great they really make it special and all themed around Christmas with the Enchanted Village and Santa’s Woodland Lodge with reindeers and you go and visit the main man himself. The weekend is then finished off with Fireworks round the lake with Santa sailing round the lake on his boat.

It is well worth a visit and our weekend is already booked again for next year.
