90 minutes of torment and pure hard work..

Well my family and I sat down on Monday night together to watch ‘Secrets of the mega cruise ship’ being filmed on the ship we should of been going on in a few weeks ‘MSC Seaside’

What a great show to see just how hard the staff behind the scenes really do work !!!!!

It was a fly on the wall behind-the-scenes documentary giving the chance to see life is on a ship that holds 5,000 passengers.

Film cameras were given an access all areas pass to the dining venues, bars and below deck even down to
the massive pipe where food waste goes to ‘feed the fishes’ and the giant laundry room.
It showed the dancers from the shows and their not so glamorous daily routines of work work work and the smallest living accommodation ever they hardly get time to eat.

There was some amazing statistics shared ;
Staff serve up an impressive 8,000 bottles of wine on one week-long route.
They whip up 140,000 eggs every week
107,499 plates of food were served every seven days
18,000 pieces of fresh fruit
5.1 tonnes of flour.

The ship that is designed on a Miami beach really gave the opportunity to show viewers her best bits including 11 dining venues and 19 bars and lounges, bowling alley a huge waterpark a glamorous atrium over 4 decks, glass floored catwalks state of the art gym and spa to name a few.

The Seaside which was launched in December 2017 is based out of Miami to the Caribbean tear round soon to be visiting MSC’s new private island , Ocean Cay Marine reserve.

Msc are growing from strength to strength and are just about to launch their newest ship the ‘Bellissima ‘ next month, Sophie Loren will be naming her and also to celebrate the launch there will be other famous names in attendance such as Holly Willoughby, Nile Rodgers ,Chic and Craig David.

I am loving how many cruise programmes we have had a screening on our TV’s this year, I think it is a great way to actually see how fantastic cruising is, could MSC take over the Princess cruise programmes and will we have a new ‘Timothy ‘ with Msc.
