Norwegian Cruise Line Reveals Official Name Of Final Ship In Breakaway-Plus Class

Norwegian Cruise Line has just revealed the name of its latest ship as construction began on the vessel. Andy Stuart, NCL’s president and chief executive officer, announced on 31st January 2018 at Meyer Werft Laser Centre in Papenburg, Germany, that the Breakaway Plus Class vessel will be called Norwegian Encore. Due in October 2019, the 4,000-passenger vessel will be the line’s fourth and final Breakaway Plus Class ship and will sail weekly seven-day Caribbean cruises each Sunday from PortMiami. Norwegian Cruise Line Increases Gratuities On Drinks & Dining Onboard

Norwegian Cruise Lines has raised the gratuity on its drinks and speciality dining packages, effective this month. Until now, passengers have paid an automatic gratuity of 18% on the Ultimate Beverage and Specialty Dining packages. The new gratuity is 20% and became effective on the 1st December; these gratuities are added automatically to your bill even if the package is a value-added perk. The raise in gratuity comes after Norwegian raised its Ultimate Beverage Package price in October by nearly 13%.
