Looking for a cruise is no easy matter these days and definitely not something that the “first timer” should consider doing without enlisting good professional help of a trusted expert.

I need to brag a little so, hope you’ll forgive me, but I’m doing this for good reason, which will only become clearer as you read more of this blog,,,    so, here goes!!!

Having been around in the travel industry now for around 39 years, the last 23 of which have been exclusively dedicated to promoting and selling of cruises, I like to think of myself as someone who “knows my stuff”, but don’t take my word for it. Take a look at what people say about their dealings with me and you’ll see I am someone who, over time, and a great many cruises later, can be regarded as something of a cruise authority.

So, I do like to have a little chuckle at times when someone completely new to cruising, tells me that a member of their family has guided them to the fact that the only cruise line for them is xyz cruise line. Having cruised on that particular line perhaps twice before, they want the first timer to understand that they have already been on the very best cruise line and there is nothing to beat it. When I delve further, I often discover that the xyz cruise line is different to different people. To some, it’s P&O, to others it’s Royal Caribbean. Let me say clearly that whilst these cruise lines offer remarkable value for money cruise experiences, to some they may well be the best of the best. I beg to differ. Considering my expertise against someone who might have done two or three cruises and I know in whom I would trust.

If I were to tell you that there is a one stop website with hundreds of thousands of pages of valuable data to help guide and inform you for your next cruise, you might not believe it possible. About six months ago, I made this discovery and from that day, I have never looked back. That website is www.Cruise.co.uk and surprise, surprise…     I am part of that very set up.

It’s cleverly indexed throughout and I particularly love the Cruise Bulletin section to get lots of great cruise news…       the top tab that says EVERYTHING then has a sub section below CRUISE GUIDES and that has numerous headings to cover just about anything you might ever want to know.

I get asked lots of questions…    how much to tip, recommended shore excursions, visa requirements etc…       and this section is about the closest you could get to a real cruise online bible.
