50 Million Reason to set sail with Oceania!!!!!

Next spring will see a six week make over for 3 of Luxury cruise liners Oceanias smallest ships.

After bringing in 2 new luxury liners in the past 2 years, Oceania are now set to spend an enormous $50 million to upgrade suites, staterooms and main Public rooms, with a lot of the colours and décor inspired in their newer ships finding their way into the older fleet.

 

The 684- passenger Regatta and Insignia which were built in 1998 along with the Nautica launched in 2000 will be treated to complete new bathrooms in all owners and Vista suites.

Other public areas will receive an overhaul including the casual dining venue the Terrace Cafe will be getting a grill to enable preparation of lobster and steak and in addition the Baristas coffee bar which are featured on the Marina and Riviera will also be added to the R class vessels.

 

Other charges will involve the ships indoor smoking area being totally enclosed with a new air filtration system installed. New steam and changing rooms introduced at the Canyon Ranch Spa club. More table for 2 added in the grand Dining room and Toscana, and lastly show rooms will also be updated.

Changes will be scheduled between April-June 2014 with Insignia and Nautica by dry docked in Marseille France and the Regatta in Vancouver.

 

In a statement Kunal S. Kamlani, president of Oceania Cruises said “We are excited by the opportunity to bring some of the best features of our O-class ships to Regatta, Insignia and Nautica”
