Re-positioning cruise’s will they do it again common question

Our tailor made team work really hard putting together these bespoke itineraries, I get calls all of the time asking if customers can do the same trip , a month later , the answer of course is no.

I will use the very popular one we are booking at the moment with Navigator of the seas leaving in November from Southampton.

On 10th November she will be leaving Southampton to re-position herself in the Caribbean for the Winter, we get really good rates on these sailings which enables us to package together with hotels, transfers and flights offering an nice long break right before Christmas with a little sun at the end.

They are not for everyone, generally there will be 5/6 days at sea before you get anywhere near land, as I love cruising this is no hardship for me , there is always things to do on board, plus we love to just chill , find a sunbed , open our kindles and read. Sometimes we have met with other passengers and played cards which was great fun on the last cruise we were on.

But I digress , some people, especially people who have never cruised before, will call and want the same thing a month later at the same price ?

Well, it will not be repeated , it is a re-positioning , its not coming back to Southampton a month later to do it again, if this is the type of cruise you would like , always look from end September – November and again End March to early May , this is when the ships are coming back to Southampton, so everything is reversed, fly out , sail home (no weight restrictions , shop till you drop !!)

Many of the cruise lines will offer airport transfers some include them in the price , others not. So if you like the one in November on the Navigator for instance you can take your car to the airport you will be returning to and catch the coach down to Southampton to start your cruise , easy as that ! There is a charge on that one.

I hope to do one of these some day , I will definitely write a blog about it when I do !!
