Families , please wake up and smell the Ocean !!

Thought it just sounded better than coffee !! its that time of the year AGAIN , Peaks is nearly at a close and now we start with the dreaded late deals. Now I am fond of a bargain myself , but I am also realistic , I often used to say to people when I worked in a retail shop, when do you goto the NEXT sale , on day one or after a week, yes ladies we know whats left all the size 00 clothes or shoes that could easily fit an elephant.

Why would anyone think that cruise holidays are any different to land based ones. I can hear you all agreeing with me when you go in for that late summer deal and all that’s left in your budget are Tunisia or Turkey, not everyone’s favourite destinations at this present time !

Cruises are slightly different , at least you know you will be on a fabulous ship , but still everyday we get calls for family cabins, they are almost now impossible to get for summer 2016 , so what happens , you have to take two cabins and pay full price for little Bobby & Sue , who at this time are only 5 or six years old. Next we find a great deal on a saver fare with P&O , whoops age group closed, a lady asked me why this happens ?? Would you want 400 infants on your cruise , how would the ship cope with that ?? They have to have a cut off point .

So if you know what you want and the cabins are still available for 3/4 share , PLEASE book them , they will not go down in price , they will just not be there. We cannot go out like some of the land based tour operators and “buy” more allocation . When the ship is full, its full !

It is really difficult to disappoint people when they are trying to book the annual holiday , our time together is very precious, so come on families, get booked before they all go .

Do you want the ship to sail without you ??
