The largest ship in the world is to sail the Mediterranean for summer 2015

Weighing in at a massive 225,282 tons, The Allure of the seas is to sail out of Barcelona during the summer of 2015.

With 2706 cabins, 1187 feet long, a total of 18 decks, 24 guest lifts and 4 swimming pools, the Allure of the seas is the biggest out there.

Is big always better?

If you like your cruise bustling and fun filled then this ship is perfect.

Here are some of my favourite features on board the Allure of the seas…

Aqua Theatre

The main event being OceanAria, featuring high dive performances from 60 foot platforms!

You can get a great view from one of the balconies next to the climbing wall too!

Central Park

Explore the cafes, shops and bistros in this open air tropical garden.

Over 12000 plants and trees made this a truly unique experience.

3D movies

The kids will love the Dream works experience. Not only can they meet their favourite characters for example Shrek and Kung Fu Panda but they also show 3D moves in the Theatre during the day.

H2o Zone

Sticking to the family facilities, the H2O zone has cannons, bright sculptures, fountains making it seriously fun for all the family!

Stateroom choice

The Allure offers staterooms for all budgets. All staterooms offer room service, luxury bedding, a TV, telephone, safe and bathroom with shower.

Inside cabin and loft suite

Amber Theatre

Currently showing Chicago the Broadway production and Blue planet which explores the wonders of the world. Not to be missed spectaculars!

Allure of the seas sails out of Barcelona for summer 2015 offering a 7 night Western Mediterranean itinerary.

Royal Caribbean are currently offering a free all-inclusive package and free gratuities for these cruises (see my blog dated 10 August for full details) It’s been a very popular promotion so far.

The Allure joins many other cruise ships sailing out of Barcelona which include ships from Costa, Princess, Holland America, Celebrity and MSC to name a few.

It’s hard to believe that these ships will be sold out during the high seasons.

Have you sailed on the Allure of the seas? What did you think?

Is bigger better?

I would love to hear your thoughts so get in touch..
