Our Journey Continued…

Day 4, The wind and the rain continued to prevail, but we got up and made our way to Glencoe for the night. Not entirely sure what my other half was thinking letting me do this section of driving, considering it was 1142 feet high with no barrier. It was safe to say he sat in the back praying for our safety. He learnt his lesson and never asked me to drive again! Haha! We drove through Fort William and past Ben Nevis, we decided to leave our walking boots at home… especially in that weather. We knew we would start seeing all the scenic routes now, and we really did! It made us realise why we came here. The view really was something.

On arrive into Glencoe we found our little house we would be staying in for the evening, it was so lovely, and we have a brilliant view! We decided to do some exploring that evening, so we went out. We ended up at the Clachaig Inn, food here was amazing and so were the views! Would recommend. We took an early leave and went back to our wee house for another night by the fire.

Day 5, time is flying by! We didn’t have to get up too early this morning because we only had a short 1 hour and 30 minutes’ drive to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs where we were staying for the night. We decided to take our little boy to the Sea Life – I was shocked how small this was. We stayed in the Balloch House which again was such a nice stay.

Day 6 to be continued…
