We All Deserve A Bit Of Luxury

The choice of ships in the cruise market are vast. More and more cruise lines are building more ships, bigger and better then the last one, but, are these “all singing – all dancing” ships the right ones for you?  If you yearn to escape from the big ships (and let’s face it some of them are huge) and want to have a bit more for your money, I would 100% recommend you to try a smaller ship, and of course a little 6 star cruising!

One that I particularly like is Regent Seven Seas. Regent offer fantastic 6 star service, smaller ships with a larger crew ratio to clients, fantastic food, wonderful ship accommodation and of course some really fantastic itineraries.  I can hear you all now saying yes but the price is more – well, yes it is but when you look at what you actually get it does work out cheaper in some cases then another cruise.

For example,  did you know that excursions are included in the price? That all tips and service charges are also included? Drinks package also included? No extra charge for any of the speciality restaurants? If you added all of these up to a price you would pay with another cruise line, I think you would be surprised.

Excursions can cost a bomb, but to have the majority of these included (there are a few not, I have to point out) surely saves you money? Drinks can cost a fortune and must be the main spend on a ship but with Regent all of this is included – and not just the house wine or standard spirits, were talking champagne at any time plus all the premium drink brands. What about the food? You have to experience the food on a six star ship – honest! Wonderful, mouth watering and a great choice, and you can go to any of the speciality restaurants and not pay a cover charge!

The accommodation on board is wonderful – really beautiful, great attention to detail. If you stay in a concierge class or above you even get free wi fi, and a expresso coffee maker!

The itineraries as I have mentioned before are lovely, and because you are in a smaller ship you do get to see places that the bigger ships cant get to – a plus!  There is for example a fabulous Miami to Lima cruise in January. 18 nights, which includes sailing through the Panama Canal, stopping off in Ecuador and then finally arriving in Lima. 76 excursions are included – yes really!!

As we are close to the end of this year, with 2016 and even 2017 on your mind, have a look at some of the luxury ships, don’t think they are all stuffy because there really not.  I am happy to discuss Regent or indeed any of the others – Seabourn, Silverseas, Oceania, Azamara and Crystal – just give me a call or drop me a email.

I look forward to hearing from you!
