Combine Both World’s

Do you ever compromise with your partner over holiday plans? He wants a bit of action while you just want to lie in the sun and see some sights? I would think you and a few others! Well, we may have the perfect option for you!

A river cruise combining a visit to the Hungarian Grand Prix, and not just standing tickets but sitting down – oh yes we don’t do things by half!

Fly out to Budapest on the 6th August and have a evening in a really nice hotel. The next day, transfer from the hotel to the Grand Prix (lucky things) and then come back to Budapest, join your ship and meet your fellow travellers.  The next day is all about seeing the sights of this lovely city.  Budapest has two parts – Pest which is the more commercial side and Buda, the historic part. Well worth a visit I think.  The cruise then takes you onto Bratislava in Slovakia, not been there myself would be good to see, before arriving into Vienna. Day 5 of the cruise is spent exploring this beautiful city, after a really good tour in the morning. In the evening you do get the chance to attend a Mozart and Strauss concert, if you feel like a bit more culture that is!

Day 6 will take you to Weissenkirchen, where so it says, Richard The Lionheart was held ransom for a time, then sail through the most beautiful Wachau valley which is now a UNESCO world heritage sight. Overnight tonight will be in Grien, and you will have time to explore this little town.  Day 7 you will arrive in Linz, which is the 2nd largest city in Austria. From here you do get a chance to do a few excursions such as the Austrian Lake District or a lovely medieval town just over the border or how about going to Salzburg? For me, it would be Salzburg a stunning destination.

On day 8 your cruising through upper Austria to Passau in Germany, before finally arriving in Vilshofen on day 9.

What a lovely trip, get to see all these fantastic destinations AND the Hungarian Grand Prix! I would love it, (Mr Rosberg is rather nice to look at too!)

So, what is included I hear you ask? Well, how about 7 excursions, all meals, wine, beer and soft drinks with your meal, Hungarian Grand Prix Tickets, and all this from £1999 per person and on a 5 star ship! Seeing as this is also combining the 30th anniversary of the Hungarian Grand Prix I really do think it would be pretty awesome.

It’s not often you get a chance to “combine” both world’s but here is your chance! – Any takers?
