Garden Inspirations…….

Do you like to spend time in your garden? Perhaps watch garden related TV programmes, listen to the radio and read Gardeners World? If you do, then I am sure you have heard of Tony Russell, a writer and Radio 4’s gardener and gardeners question time panellist.  Tony will be a guest on a great summer garden inspired, Fjords cruise with Fred Olsen on 21st August.

This cruise departs from Southampton on the lovely Balmoral ship, and visits such beautiful and stunning places such as Bergen (you should visit the fish market), Olden (see the fantastic Briksdal Glacier), Flam (go on the wonderful railway which climbs up the mountain), Olden and Nordfjord (Nordfjord is one of Norway’s longest fjords), Maurangerfjord and Furebergfossen (you actually sail past the Furebergfossen waterfall), Hardangerfjord (some say one of the nicest places to see) and not forgetting Stavanger where a free visit to the botanical gardens is included. These gardens are very well known and have great views looking out to the North Sea.

This cruise will of course, have many like minded people like yourself who love to garden, swap tips, enjoy some really interesting lectures, speak to Tony and generally make some new friends! The price also includes free drinks on board, breakfast, lunch and dinner, a Captains gala party and buffet, tea and coffee throughout the day, all evening entertainment, and lets not forget the fantastic on board leisure facilities such as the gym, pools and jacuzzis!
