Valentines Day Romantic discounted Cruise

I have searched plenty of cruises for customers over the last few weeks especially those of you that want a bit of a change of scenery on a last minute cruise.

Marseilles, Southern France

As first dates Hotel fans will tell you It doesn’t get more romantic than the south of France it just has a certain je ne sais quoi The first port of call is the beautiful region of Marseilles, awash with Vineyards typical French Chateaus and love in the air in the gorgeous villages of Provence on the french riviera sipping red wine and taking a leisurely walk around the yachts, cafes and sampling French cuisine.

Genoa Italy

Then you can make your own his and hers Pizza in Genoa Italy only 2 hours from the  fashion shopping district of Europe Milan, Genoa is a typical Italian city full of the bars and restaurants you see only in the romantic movies. When my wife and I was there in 2011 I visited the beautiful Curch Cattedrale di San Lorenzo which is still the most stunning church I have seen anywhere in the world.

Rome Italy

Next is the stunning port of Civitavecchia just an hour from Rome in my opinion one of the most romantic spots on Earth make a wish next to the Trevi Fountain or see where Roman Gladiators fought in the family’s honor at the coliseum; My Pick however is the Spanish Steps A place so Romantic the whole orchestra full of serenading violins great you at the entrance. You can reserve a table for two at the top of the steps for a coffee and a cake and take in the most spectacular view over the Roman Capital.

Palermo Italian island of Sicily

This is one of the most stunning places on earth with the green waters of the Mediterranean on the back drop of 12 century villages. If you want to catch a romantic Opera this is the most authentic place to see tears in the eyes of your lover as you are moved by some of the finest tenner voices in the world.

Valletta Malta

For me this was one of my favorite Cities we visited in Europe an almost Medieval looking town with cobbled streets and lots of English styled architecture and a strange Limestone colour. Take a walk and get lost in the middle of town or take the open top bus tour around the town.

Barcelona

Whats left to say surly one of the finest cities in Europe have a spot of Lunch in Las Ramblas (hold onto to you purse or wallet) visit Palau de la Música Catalana for one of the most exquisite examples of Spanish old Town. If you feel you want to indulge in Football why not have a tour of Camp Nou Barcelona’s 90,000 seat stadium home to Messi and Iniesta.
