The Air & Cruise industry is set for dramatic growth between 2017-2018 from London to Australia after this week Qantas, Australia’s national carrier announced its signed a contract with Boeing for their 787-9 Dreamliner to be the first airline to have commissioned a 17 hour direct route from London To Perth Western Australia.

There is so much of the South pacific, New Zealand and Australia our customers would love to see but you will be surprised by how many people are put off by the indirect flight options and lots of ground time it can often take the best part of 3 days to get to the other side.

Up until recently the longest ever flight was Emirates Dubai to New Zealand which takes 16 hours 35 minutes in an Airbus A380.

This opens a new era in Air travel and brings us even closer to The other side of the world.

What can you do in 17 hours?

Read about a third of War & Peace

Watch the first 17 Episodes of The HBO Smash The Walking Dead.

Watch Titanic around 6 times although you may have landed by the time you get to see how it ends the last time.

When Qantas launched the first ever Weekly flight to Australia back in 1947 initially taking four days and carrying only 29 passengers and 11 crew from Sydney to Libya and then on to London.

Here is the detailed version Sydney to Darwin in Norther Australia and then on to Singapore, Calcutta in India Karachi and Cairo before it traveled to Tripoli in Libya and then onto London.

That’s just 60 Years of growth. with Technology changing at the rate it is today I predict by 2040 we will be able to travel to Perth Western Australia within 10 Hours.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and book your next Australia Cruise right here.
