You say Marco, I say Polo!

Well they say good things come in small sizes and I am hoping that will be the case when I go on my next cruise. Next week along with most of the team from here at Cruise.co.uk I will be boarding Cruise and Maritime’s Marco Polo for our annual Christmas Conference for a 3 nights. We will be sailing out of Bristol and be doing the Festive Dublin itinerary on the 16th December 2018

I have travelled through Dublin several times but never managed to have a good look around so this will be great as we have 2 full days in port so once the conference finishes I can go and explore and see if I can track down the black stuff everyone talks about.

As a homeworker it is great when you get together with everybody else that you talk to but dont get to see throughout the year. I look forward to working hard and finding out what we and the cruise lines have in store for us in 2019, How Brexit may or may not affect us and letting my hair ( what little I have left ) down on a night and sampling the odd drink or two!

Now having been on some of the biggest cruise ships in the world you would think that a ship the size of the Marco Polo would not appeal. But I really cant wait to see what she has to offer. I’ve never sailed with Cruise and Maritime and whilst I have been on smaller ships before never one who measures up like this –

By modern Standards she is tiny yet I fully expect to find a certain charm, good standards and by all accounts great food and service and I will let you all know as soon as I return.

The cabins look to be a decent size as do the restaurant and lounges. the drinks look very reasonable and as everything is in Sterling you know exactly how much you are paying which is good at the moment.

I’ll take lots of pic’s of the ship and do a littlle review for you all when I return so you can see if small may be for you!
