Well That’s Just Pants!! Or is it?

Those of you of a sensitive disposition, look away now! This post includes references to nudity and undergarments!

Well never let it be said that we don’t go the extra mile here at Cruise.co.uk, and I think the photo above backs up this statement. Those of you who read my blog regularly will know that I’m a big fan of cruise ship carpets, the more garish the better, mental note to self “must get out more”. My colleagues very kindly humour me and regularly send me photos of carpets when they are on ship visits or even their own cruise holidays. I have quite a collection I can tell you.

Last week my lovely Manager Mark, and his partner, spent a week on MSC Magnifica, more of that later. He emailed me, unable to contain his excitement, to say that as he was getting undressed one night he realised that his pants (new for the holiday of course) matched the carpet so he had very kindly taken the off, laid them on said carpet and took a photo for me. I must admit, a very good likeness although I don’t think I will be repeating the exercise with my pants, however if any of you find carpets matching your undergarments It does make me chuckle to think of him standing there stark naked taking a photo of his pants though!

Back to Magnifica, Mark said he really couldn’t fault a thing which reinforces my own thoughts having spent a few days on Preziosa last November. He said the ship was stunning, food fabulous, and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. In fact we are both more than happy to stick our necks out and say that the food is far superior to anything dished up by P&O these days. They are obviously having to make cutbacks due to the amount of bookings they are taking on their Saver Fares and the food is suffering. MSC also offer the best value for money all-inclusive Drinks Packages at sea starting at £22 per person per day – another bonus!

MSC never fail to give exceptionally good value for money on their fleet of stunning ships. Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it I say, and they have plenty of great offers on at the moment which should tempt you savvy cruisers.
