I am prepared to be Amazed…

Passport out once again…ready for my visit to the Reimagined Azamara Quest.

It is just like my customers preparing for their cruises:

• Passport

• Boarding Pass – OK in my case an Invitation from Azamara

• Fuel in the car to get to Southampton… ok not quite that organised yet either, but still a few days to go..

Friday sees me making the lovely journey from my home in Sidmouth to Southampton, and looks set to be another sunny day, to experience an afternoon of hospitality to experience the ReImagined Azamara Quest.

The previously already stunning ship has recently undergone a makeover and I am really looking forward to seeing the changes they have made to her. Azamara is a subsidiary of Royal Caribbean Cruises, and was established to give a luxury experience similar to an exclusive country club hotel. Offering a fleet of just the 2 ships – Journey & Quest – Azamara offers a complete package to its approximately 700 guests, including Gratuities, Drinks and their own unique AzAmazing Evenings where on each cruise a truly unique evening experience is arranged for the guests including such things as a visit to the Opera in Italy, the Ballet in St Petersburg or a stunning Chateau visit in France.  Each AzAmazing evening is exclusive for passengers from the cruise and is a real highlight of the trip for many.

Azamara also believe in complete “Destination Immersion”  to give you a real traditional feel for the area that you are visiting and to allow this they offer many ports of call with overnight stays in port or a late sail away to give you the full opportunity to explore the port of call.

Although sadly I am not getting to sail away anywhere this time, I can’t wait to experience the second to none service levels on board for my afternoon experience and to see the beautiful ship… Full report to follow with lots of pictures on my next blog, and hopefully some updates during the day on Friday of my visit on my Facebook page.
