Enjoying the 4 S’s…Sun, Sea, Sand & Sangria

As you are reading this by the joys of modern technology, I will be enjoying my long awaited summer holiday with my family and hopefully enjoying Sun, Sea, Sand & Sangria…

As we are taking 3 teenagers (17,16 &14), and my Mum (60+…), with us we have opted for a land based holiday this year to Spain…. yes I am holidaying in Benidorm.  Situated a short transfer from Alicante Airport on the Costa Blanca and made even more famous by the tv show.

The Beach certainly looks beautiful in this picture… let’s see how my real photos compare when I’m back.. 

Not a place that I have ever visited previously so it will certainly be an educational trip for me but was chosen primarily for the All Inclusive Hotel group that we are staying at & able to use other hotels in the resort as well as the water parks and theme parks to keep our children entertained…

Despite discovering only 2 weeks ago that one of the children’s passports had ran out, I know i’m the travel agent !!, and a quick visit to the passport office in Newport we are now all ready for the off and looking forward to (hopefully) a relaxing week !!…

I must admit that since joining Cruise.co.uk I am getting more envious of some of our amazing cruise deals that we have and I think the next holiday for just me and the Hubby will most definitely be a cruise – we would both like to visit Venice & Croatia so watch this space for that next year..

But back to this year, we are very fortunate to live only 15 minutes drive from Exeter Airport so the taxi is booked for our 4.00am start and our week in the sun, building sand castles, playing in the sea and of course the occasional glass of Sangria may have to be sampled!!…

I will tell you all about it when I get back, but for now… Viva Espana..
