lots of news this week…

Hello everyone,

I am just back to my office this week from my 2016 Summer Holiday and have come back to a very busy time of it as P&O and Cunard Cruises have now announced details for their 2018 launch programmes…. I do truly admire anyone who can be that organised to book 2 years ahead and in all honesty it really is worth it if you can with some excellent launch discounts available and knowing that you have got a cruise that you want.

Here are the links to the full Details of itineraries and guide prices – if there is anything that you like the look of let me know as soon as possible and I will be ready – bright & early on launch dates to secure you the best deal.

I had a very enjoyable holiday in Benidorm, temperatures in the 30’s and I did enjoy the odd glass, or 2, of Sangria as well as some lazy days on the beach and by the pool we did do a couple of days out to occupy my teenage family.  We visited Aqua Natura & Terra Natura – a fantastic 2 park attraction offering a great water park combined with a lovely zoo, we also did a day at Terra Mitica which is a lovely theme park with some fairly scary rides.  I was most impressed with the layout of this park which was designed around 3 main ancient areas – Egyptian, Greek & Roman this theme was incorporated into the attractions in each area including the Pyramid of Secrets (passages of terror – not for the faint hearted – like me!!). It almost felt like being on a cruise with exploring the different areas, cultures and seeing the different animals in the zoo.

In other news this week from P&O, they have announced a NEW ship to be launched in 2020 – set to be the biggest ship built for the British Market.. Following my facebook post about this during the week – you even love or hate the idea – but hopefully it can only be good for the industry to get as many people to cruise as possible…

P&O New Ship Launch

And finally for today’s “lots of news” edition just to remind you that I am off on another ship visit Next Tuesday, This time to Portland to see the newest addition to the Holland America Line Fleet – the Konigsdam.  Having never been on a Holland America ship I am very much looking forward to experiencing it, and certainly the itinerary for the day they have planned for us is looking good – with time to explore the ship as well as a lovely lunch and some product update information training.  So if there is anything that you would like me to find out for you about this ship or Holland America let me know, and I will give a full report on my findings soon.

Until next time,

Frankie
